The July Revolution and Uprising were organized through the most extreme killings in history. The July Uprising is a landmark event in the history of Bangladesh, where the student community and the general public joined together in the movement for the restoration of democracy and freedom of speech. This uprising began on July 27, 2024, led by students of Dhaka University, which quickly spread across the country. Students took to the streets demanding fair elections, freedom of speech, and protection of human rights. Despite the government's harsh repression, lathicharge, tear gas, and arrests, the protesters did not retreat. On July 31, the national movement took extreme shape under the pressure of student-public unity. As a result of the uprising, the government was forced to resign on July 36. This uprising was a shining example of the sacrifice, courage, and commitment to democracy of the student-public. It spread the message of unity across the country and prepared the young generation for leadership in politics. Through the coup, the nation gained a new political consciousness.
